Heads up, everyone! Expect some significant travel disruptions this weekend as the M4 will shut down in both directions from Friday evening to Monday morning. This closure affects the stretch between Junction 18 (Bath) and Junction 19 (M32), so plan your journeys accordingly.
🗓 **When?**

This closure is part of ongoing construction for the new A432 Badminton Road Bridge. The work involves lifting eight gigantic steel beams into place using specialised equipment. It’s a major step forward in enhancing our road infrastructure, promising improved connectivity for everyone once complete!

– **Eastbound:** Same route, in reverse.
🛣 **About the New Bridge:**
– 46.5 metres long and 20 metres wide
– Built to modern safety standards, with safer pavements and protective barriers
