🚨 Heartbreaking News from Holywell 🚨
Nearly 300 workers have been hit by redundancies as Welsh furniture favourite Westbridge sadly folds. Known for their stylish sofas and upholstery, Westbridge couldn’t weather operational challenges and a major client loss.
Since March, efforts were made to find a buyer to preserve jobs, but without success. Production at Holywell stopped on 2nd April, affecting 297 dedicated staff members. However, there’s a silver lining—Westbridge’s collection will live on! Whitemeadow, another respected name in upholstery, has acquired the intellectual property and design rights. They plan to engage with stockists, hoping to keep those stylish designs available to shoppers.
