😴 Struggling to catch enough zzz’s? You’re not alone! A whopping 1 in 4 Brits are surviving on just five hours of sleep each night. Loo trips, stress, and anxiety are robbing us of our much-needed rest.

While the NHS recommends adults grab between seven to nine hours of shut-eye, most of us are barely clocking six! Imagine losing a whole night’s sleep every week—yikes! 😲
According to recent research involving 4,000 adults, nearly 44% feel sleep-deprived, and it’s even worse for those with health conditions, shooting up to 54%. The consequences? Weight gain, feeling overwhelmed by tiny tasks, and a dip in mental well-being. Adults with medical conditions are facing even tougher challenges, with worsening symptoms and impaired memory being all too common.

Loo breaks are the top culprit for disrupting sleep (45%), but stress, anxiety, and dodgy sleep routines follow closely behind. The tossing and turning usually hit hardest around 2am to 3am. Anyone else guilty of the midnight stir?
Many have tried everything from sleep sprays to new pillows, but nothing seems to stick, with some even reaching for the wine. 🍷
Tom Evans shares his journey: “With ADHD, poor sleep felt inevitable. Medicines helped me focus, but sleep was a challenge. White noise helped a bit, but nothing like the difference medical cannabis made. Now, I sleep through the night.”

Dr Simon Erridge highlights, “Poor sleep is a battle, especially for those with chronic conditions. It doesn’t just mean fatigue—it can worsen symptoms and make daily life tougher.”
Thinking about how your sleep measures up? Is it time to switch up those bedtime habits? Sweet dreams are worth the effort! 🌙✨
