Katie’s farewell will be nothing short of a fairy tale, featuring a pink coffin carried by white horses adorned as unicorns, reflecting the princess she was to her family. As Maria poignantly expressed, “I want to give my daughter the ending she deserves.”

Maria has decided to move to Devon, a cherished family spot, offering her the solace of visiting Katie’s resting place frequently. This move marks a significant change as Maria admits, “I can’t go into town anymore. It has turned our lives upside down. It changed everything.”

For those unable to attend the Devon service, a memorial event will be held on 1st May at Bournville Parish Church, inviting everyone touched by Katie’s story to join.

The community has rallied around the family, contributing through a GoFundMe campaign to support the cost of the funeral. Maria extends an open invitation for those who wish to attend, offering a glimpse into how their generosity has helped celebrate Katie’s life.
