🏉 Big Changes Ahead! 🏉
Big news in the rugby world as Wales captains Jac Morgan and Dewi Lake announce their departure from the Ospreys at the end of the season. The duo is swapping the Welsh valleys for English hills as they head to Gloucester to join the Gallagher Premier League squad for the 2026/27 season.
Both players shared heartfelt messages, expressing mixed emotions as they prepare for this new chapter. Jac admits it was a difficult decision but is eager to embrace the challenges that lie ahead. He cherishes his time and growth with the Ospreys, but is excited about his future in the Gallagher Premier.
Dewi, too, reflects fondly on his journey with the Ospreys, recalling special moments and friendships formed with the team. He looks forward to testing himself in the highly competitive Gallagher Premier, ready to bring his strengths to Gloucester’s playstyle.
Despite the disappointment of losing pivotal players, Ospreys coach Mark Jones understands their decision amidst the uncertainty facing Welsh rugby. The club did all it could to retain them, but respects their choices and wishes them the best on their new adventures.
As the Ospreys gear up for the rest of the season, both Jac and Dewi remain committed to giving their all until they bid farewell.
Ospreys family, let’s rally behind these legends and cheer them on in their final season with us! 🖤🌟
