🚨 **Traffic Alert: A470 Coryton Crash** 🚨
Hey Cardiff folks! If you’ve been travelling on the A470 near the M4, you might have noticed the chaos early this morning. A collision involving two cars around 1 am had the Coryton Interchange in a gridlock. The road was sealed off in both directions, causing quite the detour as drivers navigated slip roads to get back on track.
Luckily, it wasn’t as bad as it could have been. Two people were promptly taken to hospital, but, good news—they’re expected to be okay. A police spokesperson confirmed that their injuries aren’t serious. However, a gentleman involved in the crash has been reported for failing to provide a specimen for analysis—serious stuff!
The road eventually reopened around 7 am, but the early morning saga was a real headache for commuters. 🚗💨
Hope everyone stays safe out there. Please steer clear of this area if you can while things settle back to normal.
Stay tuned for more updates and drive carefully, Cardiff! 🛑
