🎉🇫🇷 Rugby Recap: Wales v France 🇫🇷🎉
Tough day for Welsh fans as France stormed to a 54-12 victory at the Principality Stadium. Eight tries from the French side showcased their speed, intensity, and the sheer skill level that has them as strong contenders for the Grand Slam! 🏆
Here’s how our boys played:
– Louis Rees-Zammit stood out with a solid performance, showing danger with every touch of the ball. Imagine his impact with a more dominating team around him! 🤔
– Ellis Mee was strong in the air and tenacious in tackles, despite facing a relentless attack from France. 💪
– Eddie James stepped up with some solid defensive plays and showed potential for the future. 📈
– Joe Hawkins and Josh Adams found it hard going on the back foot but fought valiantly. Always tough when the team’s under pressure! 😅
– Dan Edwards and Tomos Williams couldn’t find their rhythm in the kicking game, with Edwards struggling defensively as well. Time for some strategic thinking before Scotland? 🧐
– Aaron Wainwright impressed with powerful carries, proving to be a key player in tough times. 🌟
While Rhys Carré bulldozed over for our first try, key tackles were missed, and France capitalised. Adam Beard, in particular, had a challenging day to forget.
Our replacements added some fresh energy, yet it was a day where the French played in a different gear. Next up is Scotland, and here’s hoping for a rally and a stronger performance from our Welsh lads! 🏉🍀
