🗞️ **Disturbing Incident at Nottingham School** 🗞️

A shocking event unfolded at Nottingham University Academy of Science and Technology today as a 15-year-old boy was seriously injured in a stabbing on the school grounds. The drama unfolded around 1:30pm, prompting an immediate response from local authorities.
The victim, who suffered significant injuries, has been taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre for urgent treatment. In swift action, police have already arrested another 15-year-old, believed to be known to the victim, in connection with the incident.

Superintendent Chris Pearson assured the community that the authorities are working closely with the school. He said, “This is obviously an unsettling incident. We know this is likely to cause alarm among parents and pupils, but we want to stress there’s no wider threat to the school community.” Despite recent national ‘School Wars’ social media chatter, this incident is not linked to those trends.

A police cordon was established outside the school entrance as investigations commenced, with several police cars seen on site and even an air ambulance landing nearby.
Our thoughts are with the injured student and their family during this challenging time. We’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available. Stay safe, everyone! 💬📚
