🚨 Major Drug Bust in Newport! 🚨
In a bold move by the serious organised crime unit, 24-year-old Matthew Roberts found himself in trouble after a significant bust in Newport! Police raided his Hendre Farm Drive home and discovered heroin, crack cocaine, and more, all valued at a staggering £175,000! 😮
Officers didn’t just find drugs – they also seized weighing scales, cash, and mobile phones, capturing a snapshot of Roberts’ illegal business. During the police inquiry, Roberts chose to stay mum, but the evidence was loud and clear, leaving him no option but to admit his crimes in court.
Roberts is now facing five years behind bars. 🚔
PC Matthew Tucker highlighted, “Roberts and criminals like him are solely driven by profits, disregarding the suffering they bring to vulnerable individuals and their families.”
The message from the police is clear: they are determined to continue their fight against drug crime, bringing safety and calm to our communities. 🌟 They urge everyone to stay vigilant and keep reporting any suspicious activities you notice.
Stay safe, and let’s look out for each other! 🙌 #NewportNews #CommunitySafety #StopTheDrugs
