Rio Ferdinand Calls for Removal of Welsh Football Icon from BBC Studio Following Bold World Cup Forecast

🎤 World Cup Banter Alert! 🎤

Imagine the scene: Rio Ferdinand, former Man Utd ace, took a cheeky swipe at Welsh legend Ashley Williams live on air—and it’s all about a World Cup prediction that left England snubbed!

Flashback to 2022: During those nail-biting end stages of the World Cup in Qatar, Rio chatted with Williams, Gary Lineker, and Alan Shearer about the road to the final. Williams threw a curveball, predicting France vs. Spain in the semis, completely skipping over England’s clash with France! 😲

Rio didn’t hold back, playfully saying, “What? What are you talking about? Ashley shouldn’t be here. He should be gone now, take him out!”

Fast forward to now, England have pushed one step further, reaching the semis in 2026 after a thrilling 2-1 victory over Norway. The spotlight’s on Jude Bellingham—our two-goal hero! But when it came to picking the man of the match, Rio was torn, giving a nod to Elliot Anderson for his stellar moments alongside Bellingham’s heroics.

And guess what? Rio’s faith in England’s World Cup hopes has soared. He’s on record saying, “When the chips are down, we’re finding the right pieces to solve the jigsaw. Yes, Jude Bellingham is the best England player we’ve seen in tournament football since 1966!” 🇬🇧🏆

Football fans, what do you reckon? Is Jude the key to England’s World Cup dreams? And was Ashley really out of line, or just playing the pantomime villain? 🤔⚽
