Harry Redknapp nearly had to skip I’m A Celebrity due to a serious health scare involving his wife, Sandra. The former Spurs manager opened up about how close he came to pulling out of the show when Sandra contracted sepsis, a potentially fatal condition. Harry, who’s known for his devotion to Sandra, was visibly emotional when producers reunited him with her just before he entered the camp eight years ago. Despite the scare, Sandra encouraged Harry to join the show, and he eventually became King of the Jungle in 2018.
Harry’s love for Sandra is legendary; during his first stint on the show, he couldn’t stop talking about her and even confessed he calls her ten times a day when they’re apart.
