🧸💕 A Mother’s Intuition Saves the Day! 💕🧸

When Elissa’s friend noticed little Capri’s head tilt in a few photos, they didn’t just brush it off. Instead, it led to the discovery of something no parent ever wants to face – a rare and aggressive brain tumour.
Just after her 1st birthday, Capri’s symptoms were initially dismissed as signs of a simple ear infection, but Elissa’s persistence paid off. A CT scan revealed the true cause: an Embryonal Tumour with Multilayered Rosettes (ETMR). This devastating diagnosis turned their world upside down.

Since November, Capri’s undergone major surgeries and began intensive chemotherapy. Her parents, Elissa and Anthony, have been by her bedside at Addenbrooke’s Hospital through it all, even spending Christmas there to give Capri the best holiday they could. The hospital staff even brought Santa magic to the ward with activities and gifts, helping to make Capri’s hospital stay a little brighter.

The battle is far from over, but this resilient family is facing each challenge head-on. They’ve started a fundraising campaign to help manage the costs during this tough time, hoping to reach their goal of £50,000. So far, they’ve raised an incredible £34,000.
Capri’s story is a powerful reminder of the importance of trusting your instincts and seeking second opinions. This brave little girl and her family’s love and resilience inspire us all.
