🚨 Swansea City Centre Cracks Down on Anti-Social Behaviour! 🚨

Swansea’s city centre has been buzzing with activity lately, but not all of it has been good. After reports of youths causing a ruckus, South Wales Police have implemented a 48-hour dispersal order to tackle the chaos head-on! 🚔

The dispersal order gives police officers extra powers to break up groups and curb troublemakers until Friday at 9.30am. This means more high-visibility patrols and no-nonsense action to ensure everyone can enjoy our lovely city safely.

Here’s what went down:
– Two troublemakers nabbed and an illegal electric bike seized 🚴♂️❌
– A warning notice issued to keep one individual out of the area
– Three more were asked firmly to leave after engaging in anti-social antics
Acting Chief Inspector Andrew Hedley praised the effectiveness of this measure, saying, “Our proactive policing approach ensures that we act decisively against disruption, allowing everyone to enjoy the city centre without worries.”
While most youths are behaving, the small number causing issues are being dealt with swiftly. The enforcement will continue, and there’s a strong message to all: enjoy Swansea, but do it respectfully! 🤝
Patrols will remain constant across places like Swansea Bus Station, the Quadrant, Parc Tawe, and the Kingsway to prevent further trouble and reassure you.
To all parents and guardians: Please keep tabs on your kids and encourage them to enjoy our city responsibly. Let’s make sure everyone can have a great time without the drama! 😇
Stay safe and respectful, Swansea! 💙
