Tragic news has emerged from Haslingden, where 18-year-old Victoria Niebylska has been identified as one of the victims in a fatal car crash. The devastating collision took place on Helmshore Road, involving a VW Golf that tragically veered off the road, crashing into a house and a retaining wall. Both the driver, a man in his 20s, and Victoria, a passenger, passed away from their injuries. Another teenage girl remains in hospital with serious injuries.

In the aftermath, social media is flooded with heart-wrenching tributes as friends and family remember Victoria as a “beautiful soul” full of promise and dreams. Friends describe her as a bright light in their lives, someone who effortlessly brought laughter and joy. Brittany Horsfield, Georgia Gardener, and others shared touching memories and expressed their profound loss, highlighting how much Victoria is missed.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to honour Victoria’s memory, with hopes of creating a memorial bench that will offer a peaceful place for loved ones to remember her. The fundraiser, initiated by Zuzanna Kostuch, has raised £600 towards a £5,500 goal.
Lancashire Police are still appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant footage of the incident. They urge people with dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell recordings to come forward to support ongoing investigations.
Our thoughts are with Victoria’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. Rest in peace, Victoria. 🌹
