Tragic News from Cornwall: A woman has sadly passed away following a cliff fall at Pentreath Beach on the stunning Lizard Peninsula. Rachel Anne Gwilliam, a 41-year-old accountant from West Sussex, was airlifted to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth after the fall, but despite efforts to save her, succumbed to a traumatic brain injury.

The incident took place on July 20, with a swift response from emergency services including South Western Ambulance Service, HM Coastguard, and the RNLI. Two air ambulances, a land ambulance, and a search and rescue helicopter were all dispatched in hopes of rescuing her.
