🌧️⛈️ Hold onto your hats, folks! Storm Ingrid is making waves in Wales with heavy rain and strong winds expected to hit the Welsh coastline this weekend! Named by our friends in Portugal, this furious storm is setting its sights on us come Friday and Saturday. 🌬️

Flood alerts are rolling in for the Pembrokeshire coast from St Dogmaels to Amroth. With the ground already soaked from a week of wild weather, Natural Resources Wales is on high alert for coastal area flooding due to the deadly combo of high tides and stormy skies. Remember to stay cautious around beaches, paths, and low-lying areas.

The alert gets official at 8:45am on Friday, so locals, it’s time to be on your toes! Storm Ingrid isn’t just stopping with the coast; four flood alerts are up for the rivers in Powys as river levels rise. This includes areas like the upper Teme, Severn, and Vyrnwy catchments. 🌊
The Met Office has splashed us with a yellow warning for both rain and wind, stretching from 2 am Friday to 9 am Saturday. South and southwest Wales, get ready! Some spots could be blasted by gusts over 50 mph, with rains expected to drop over 20mm in places—especially tough on already soggy grounds.
Besides the downpour, southern coastal areas should brace for large waves and gusts possibly peaking at 60 mph. This storm is a slow mover, but it packs a punch!
Stay safe out there, stay dry, and keep an eye on the sky! Let us know if you have any hairy storm stories to share. 💨🌊 #StormIngrid #WalesWeather #StaySafe
