🌞 It’s a Scorcher! 🌡️

Wales is basking in extraordinary heat on this sizzling Bank Holiday Monday! We’re expecting a record-breaking day with temperatures soaring to a sweltering 30°C. Yesterday, we got a taste of the heat as Cardiff and Llysdinam hit a scorching 27.5°C, but today’s set to be even hotter.

For those in Cardiff, Newport, Abergavenny, and Hay-on-Wye, brace yourselves for some of the highest temps in the country, second only to the sizzling south of England. Even the most relaxed coastal spots are warming up, with Pembroke forecast to reach 27°C, Cardigan 29°C, and Aberystwyth touching 28°C!
This isn’t just a little hotter than your usual May day; the Met Office is calling it “historic.” And it’s not over—tomorrow could bring even hotter conditions. So, how are you planning to keep cool? An ice cream at the beach, or perhaps a shady spot in the garden?
Full sunshine and light winds will dominate the day, ensuring that wherever you are, it’s going to be a scorcher. Remember to stay hydrated, slap on some sun cream, and maybe grab a fan if you can!
🌊 Already loads have been spotted soaking up the sun at Aberavon Beach! Just make sure to stay safe in the sun while enjoying this beautiful weather.
Hang in there and enjoy this outrageously sunny day—and if you fancy staying updated on all things weather while lounging in the garden, keep an eye out for the latest tips and forecasts. 😎
Stay cool, Wales! 🌼
