Brrrr, it’s been a chilly start to May, hasn’t it? But don’t pack away those dreams of warmer days just yet! While the coming weeks might bring a bit more rain, brighter and warmer forecasts are on the horizon.
According to the latest predictions, Wales could be just weeks away from basking in glorious weather with temperatures climbing above average by the end of the month. 🌡️☀️
As high pressure builds over the UK, we could see more settled and drier conditions, especially towards the end of May. 🌧️➡️☀️ Expect the temperatures to rise, with some areas possibly reaching the low 20s. In fact, if we hit three consecutive days of 25°C, it’ll officially be a heatwave!
Some parts of the UK recently experienced the coldest May temperatures in years, with even a frosty night on May 5-6. But there’s good news coming our way as temperatures are predicted to rise a little this weekend, potentially hitting 19°C in some areas.
And just a heads up, while you might need your brolly for the odd shower, keep your sunnies close by too! As we move deeper into May, those chances of sunny, warm interludes are looking promising. 🌤️
