During his intense fourth-round match against Roman Safiullin, Djokovic let out a few choice words after a tough break of serve. Not just him—17 players in total made the naughty list this year!
Brazil’s rising star Joao Fonseca and Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz also faced fines for similar reasons, while others like Andre Goransson and Tamara Korpatsch were fined for unsportsmanlike conduct on the court. Djokovic may not be particularly proud of his outburst, but what are grand slams without a bit of drama?
