Exciting news in the rugby world as the Scarlets bolster their squad with the signing of talented lock Harvey Cuckson from Bath Rugby! 🏉🏆
At just 22, Harvey’s already made waves during two impressive loan spells at Parc y Scarlets earlier this season. He caught everyone’s attention with standout performances against teams like the Lions and Sharks on tour in South Africa, as well as Glasgow, Dragons, and Ulster. 🌍🔥
Welsh-qualified through his grandmother, Harvey brings a blend of experience and potential, having played his junior rugby at Mold RFC before getting capped by England’s U18 and U20 squads. Now he’s ready to take on the United Rugby Championship with the Scarlets! 🇬🇧🔴
Nigel Davies, Scarlets’ interim director of rugby, praised Harvey’s game-changing composure, physicality, and eagerness to learn and improve. It’s clear they’re thrilled to have him back. Nigel says, “It’s the right place for him to continue that journey, and we’re excited to see how he develops.” 🌟
Harvey couldn’t agree more, saying he’s delighted to be part of a club with a clear identity and strong ambitions. “Playing my rugby in Wales is a huge opportunity. I’m looking forward to the URC challenge and getting stuck in with the squad,” he shared. 🚀
Marking the second addition to the Scarlets squad for the next campaign, joining the likes of Wales prop Corey Domachowski, it’s shaping up to be an exciting season ahead! 🎉
