๐พ Dog Owners, Take Note! ๐พ

If you’re a proud dog parent, here’s something important to watch out for in your furry friend! ๐ถ Keep an eye on those pup peepers, especially if you notice cloudiness. Veterinary expert Ben Simpson-Vernon, known as ‘Ben The Vet’, has shared vital advice on what this could mean.

๐ Cloudy eyes might be a sign of a natural ageing process called nuclear sclerosis, especially common in our senior tail-waggers. Your pup’s lens slowly becomes denser over time, creating a bluish tint. No need to worry about thisโit’s the canine version of grey hair!
However, don’t brush off any changes! In some cases, cloudiness may hint at more serious conditions like glaucoma or corneal ulcers. ๐จ If the cloudiness appears suddenly, your pup is squinting, or their vision is noticeably affected, it’s time for a vet visit!
One dog owner said, “My dog’s eyes have this. We thought it was cataracts but our vet explained it’s not. This info is so helpful!”
Always consult your vet if you’re ever in doubt about your pet’s health. Regular check-ups are key to keeping your furry friend happy and healthy! ๐พ๐๏ธ
